When looking back to the day I started my candle business with this company, I remember how excited I was to have found something that would be fun to do and make money with. I had researched the company compensation plan, the retail profits and how much it would cost me to keep my candle business going. I hadn't even burned or seen these gourmet candles when I signed up.

My husband Thomas was stationed in Europe when I decided to look for an online business that I could do from home. We were foster parents for teens and had our youngest son still in high school, although I missed having a Network Marketing-Direct Sales business.

That's when I ran across this "little gourmet candle business". Whew, was that ever a refresher! I was an avid soy candle burner for years and I loved them. When I ran out of soy candles, I even went to Wal-Mart and purchased paraffin candles, which were surly, NOT my favorite. But burning candles is something I love to do.

The reason I looked for a business I could do online is because we live in a small farming community with 84 people in the nearest town. We are 7 miles from a grocery store and 1-1/2 hours from major shopping. So, it was very important that I found something that I could retail to pick up a few dollars when I was out and about and also a home business that I could do online with retail and building a sales team throughout the United States.

Integrity, honest and fun...

I went to out to Pennsylvania, met with the company President, VP of Marketing and the candle makers themselves. What I found was people in charge working in the warehouse, driving the fork lift and getting their hands dirty helping to get candles packed and ready to be shipped out to distributors. I knew then that this was a company with integrity and run by former distributors that wanted a company made for distributors. Oh, how refreshing!

We've been there too...

So, can we identify with you? YES. We are country folk with BIG Dreams and goals just like you. We have Network Marketing experience, we know a lot of people who burn scented candles, and we are committed to our family, God and community.

Thomas and I are what you call, entrepreneurs at heart. The Network Marketing Industry has always appealed to us. This is the ONLY industry that I know of where an average person without a college degree like us can educate themselves and create a six figure or more income by dedicating some time and money into their future while helping others do the same.

We have been involved in farming for 32 years, foster care for teens for 9 years, owning a carpet cleaning business for 16 years and Tom in the Military for over 20 years. We have four grown children and 4 grandchildren and LOVE spending time with them.

Helping others find success...

You may be asking why in the world these two are even doing a candle business.

Well, it's simple, we are concerned about our retirement savings, we enjoy helping people, we enjoy the fun we can have with money, we enjoy entertaining and meeting new friends and especially we LOVE to have fun. And it couldn't be simpler than asking "do you know anyone who burns candles?"

BUT, most important we know how this one of a kind gourmet candle can make a difference in the lives of people who want to make a change.

There are people in our age group that are struggling pay check to pay check and don't know how they will ever get out of debt so they can retire. Also stay at home moms that want to raise their children instead of the day cares. Professional people that want their time back and away from the corporate world where there is no real job security.

Tom and I have always believed that having our own business puts us in more control of our lives and finances. Was it a struggle? Yes, it can be until you have a system in place and stay focused on WHY and what you want out of your business.

We use a simple system...

We took a candle business and followed the system and now have created a monthly residual income that was not possible for us with any other company. Not that we could not have done it, it's just that our hearts were not in it and we knew that candles could make money for more people than just us.

As our home candle business grows we continually make a commitment to our team members that we are here to support them and that we are available to them. We have tools set in place, a Team Training and Resource site, Business/Marketing System and a support group available 24/7.
